6/ Are you hamstrung by your bicycle?

 

Cycling by itself is not the ideal exercise for all golfers, whether on the road home on a stationary machine?
Cycling develop the muscles in the front of the thighs (the quadriceps group) at the expense of the muscles at the back of the thighs (the hamstrings). The constant forward-leaning posture used by many cyclists also places undue stress on the lower spine and associated muscles.
Consequently, a golfer who cycles for exercise and fitness should also exercise the hamstrings to ensure that they match up with the quadriceps.
